World Music Concert Information for the Sacramento Area
We feature the Sacramento City College World Music Ensemble and associated performers
and groups. The SCC WME is a class at Sac City College. There are two sections, one
meeting on Monday evenings at Sac City College and the other meeting at the SCC Davis
Extension on Sunday afternoons. Both class sections perform together at the concerts along
with various dance groups. Every year on the last Sat. of October, we present a FREE
World Music Festival at the SCC Student Center with daytime hands-on workshops and an
evening performance of music and dance.
